THIS WEEKEND'S SUMMARY OF THE ACTION FROM THE YOUTH SECTIONS

SATURDAY the 24th of September

Under 11’s

The under 11s travelled to face Winshill Vikings for a great game, where man of the match was Elliot Watson

Under 16's

A fantastic game of football this Saturday morning between the under 16’s and a very strong Boldmere St Michaels. The visitors scored with the last kick of the game to secure a 3-2 win .
RBL goals came from Finn Betts and Joe Moore. Man of the match was Ben Morley

Under 17's

The under 17’s travelled to Sutton Coldfield under 18’s on Saturday. RBL took the lead through Flynn McKie but were pegged back by the home team to go into halftime level. In the second half, RBL were much the better team but couldn’t get the second goal and the game finished 1-1. Man of the match was Flynn McKie

SUNDAY the 25th of September

Under 8's

Th under 8’s faced Alvaston DFC Pele in their first match since being moved into group 1 in the Derby Junior League

Under 9’s

The under 9’s played a high scoring match with GAD Khalsa Roma in the DJFL under 9’s group 3

Man of the match was Kyron Khan

Under 11's

The under 11’s had a tough match at the racecourse against neighbours, Mickleover Country Park Raiders. Man of the match was Jack Evans.

Under 12's

The under 12’s won 8-3 against Meden Vale Colts Reds to maintain their 100% start to the season. Man of the match was Ethan Daykin.

Under 14’s Tigers

The under 14’s lost 4-1 to top of the league Chesapeake Apaches. Man of the match was Tait Coulstock

Under 15's Jaguars

The under 15’s travelled to top of the league Basford United Black for what was a tough match. The hosts were 2-0 up at half time. A closer second half saw the game end 5-2 to Basford.

Under 16's Golds

The under 16’s Golds lost in the cup away at Sleetmoor United Avengers, 2-1. Man of the match was Farhaan Khan.

Under 16's Panthers

The under 16’s Panthers took the short trip to Stretton where they hammered Stretton Eagles 10-0 in what was little more than a training game. Hat tricks for Christian Mountain and Ben Morley were joined with a brace from Morgan Mitchell and a goal each for Dan Barker and Sam Lowe.

Under 17 Lions

The under 17’s bagged their first three points of the season with a dominant 8-2 home victory over Polesworth Swifts Clarets.
